Trainer: Dr. Kristin Briggs will provide this advanced TF-CBT training which will focus on two main topics:
- Engaging caregivers of child sexual abuse victims in the therapeutic process.
- Self-care strategies for clinicians who are treating child sexual abuse victims.
In addition to these specific topics, throughout the two days participants will have an opportunity to deepen their understanding of all TF-CBT components and present their own challenging case examples for problem solving and support. CEUs will be available (cost per person included).
Important Note: In order to preserve opportunities for personal interaction this training will be limited to 50 participants. Given the fluid nature of social distancing measures for COVID 19, this event may be cancelled. All registrants will be notified a minimum of 30 days prior to the training in the event of a need to cancel this event.

Participants must be working towards certification in TF-CBT, or have already obtained certification.
- must have attended a TF-CBT 2 day Basic Training
- must have completed or be participating in TF-CBT Consultation Calls
- must be actively using the TF-CBT model in clinical practice with victims of child sexual abuse in Pennsylvania
25 free rooms at the Wyndam are available on a first come first served basis for participants traveling more than 50 miles to attend the training. (for Sept 27th & 28th)
