Bridges Out Of Poverty Training - English

aha! Process, Inc. a Ruby Payne Company Logo

This FREE training facilitated by Nicole J. Baptiste, LMSW, will review the Bridges Model, which uses a social-cognitive framework to understand the dynamics that cause and maintain poverty, from the individual level.

The Bridges Out Of Poverty program came from Ruby K. Payne, Ph.D. and her research "A Framework for Understanding Poverty."

Bridges Out of Poverty uses the lens of economic class and provides concrete tools and strategies for a community to alleviate poverty. Participants will review poverty research, examine a theory of change, and analyze poverty through the prism of the hidden rules of class, resources, family structure, and language. Videos, breakouts, and activities will be utilized during the training.
