Welcome to my island? Huh? What? Well, sometimes when teaching prevention we can feel like we are the only ones who know what great things are being accomplished in our lifeskills classes. This presentation will focus on getting people to come to our ‘island’ instead of waiting for a passerby or to be accidentally discovered. The presenter will share tactics and strategies to raise awareness, increase buy-in and build support. Examples will be used from the Botvin LifeSkills Training (LST) program and available resources to illustrate examples.
